Separation of Love
A logic of love

Love God first then family and the last is country.
Most people would say country first then family.
God ?
Family ?
Country ?
What if you have to choose between,country and family? What will you choose?
If choosing between country and family are difficult, try choosing between your wife and children.
Family that's stays together prays together, it's a Roman Catholic way of saying God within a family. But this kind of logic contradicts itself; if you love God first then how would come to love your family equally?
How about the love for your career? Can you love God more and love less your career? Unless of course I think that you're a pastor or a priest.
The love of money is the root of all evil.
That statement comes from the Bible, so they say. It only define what love is present when you love your money more than anything else, how can one know if he loves money? A standard gauge can be if you're so jealous to let go your money, then you love your money. Jealousy is said to be love.
So what do you think, how does Solomon give love to his wife's and concubines? If you did not read the story of Solomon, King Solomon has 700 wives and 300 concubines.
I got to say that King Solomon have a great tolerance towards stress, one family has a lot of stress of its own, but 700 wives, that's a lot of stress.
Some say that stresses are ease by concubines, in our present time (21st century) concubines can be equal to mistress. But in those days having many wives and mistresses are accepted, today if a wife discover that her man have a mistress, it's a court case already and a ground for divorce or annulment for that matter.
In the Philippines its immoral to have more that one wife, unless you're a Muslim on which having many wives is accepted. A Roman Catholic teaching will say that you should have one wife only; it's also the same in the iglesia ni kristo. But many, not all of course practice having more than one wife.
In politics is a joke that if you have more than one wife, you have a good chance of winning an election. It's one factor that most Pilipino ignores, but is widely practice and not talks about.
