History of defeats
A tale of struggle with sadness

When is the last time you go to a battle
even you knew you’re going to lose the war?
Have you fight a losing battle?
Call a draw in the middle of a game because you knew you’re going to lose.
Waiting for somebody to throw the towel?
If you knew your going to lose why fight?
If the out come of the race is already decided why continue running?
Have you tried to ask somebody for a help
even if you knew before hand they won’t give a hand?
“Trying wouldn’t hurt “they say, but you knew it’s only a waste of time.
Hurting in the body but fighting in the mind,
only your spirit is strong but your heart agrees to the pain.
Hearing you’re self “stop enough already”
at the same time reasoning you’re self "I can do this, I can do this".
The heart is hurting, you feel so sad.
The struggle is over whelming but you don’t want to give in.
What you should do in a moment like this,
feels like even God who is watching cant do anything about it.
Waiting the next move?
It’s your turn now, and you don’t know what to do.
It’s so quiet, even the birds don’t sing.
As if they are mourning with you in silent.
Where are you’re friends now?
Who among them offer a hand?
Don’t know what to say to your love ones,
don’t want them feeling the same way.
Even if you told them they can’t help.
It’s only up to you.
Nobody can help you now.
Looking for a wishing well?
Hoping to go back in time?
Even if you go back there’s nothing that you can do.
Its fix, decided, handed over. There’s nothing you can do now.
Even you’re prayers wont do anything good.
So you accepted defeat, what now?
It’s a humbling experience, it’s sad,
yes very sad but it’s what life is for.
Is this life? That’s all?
What else do you expect?
Every day it’s a struggle for a war you already lose.
The only thing do to is to fight to the very end
hoping that even you already lose the war, you actually win the battle.
