My writing career started years ago, roughly around 1989.
Logs on my study became the base of my writing creativity.
Tagalog love story, is my upgrade level.
Then I started writing in English, problem on writing begins.
What are the bases of proper English?
In my research I discovered that there are "schools" of definitions.
Is it the American English or the British English?
Which one should I choose?
I stop writing since then.
It's the worst thing I do because I almost forgot my love in writing.
So what do you think?
I choose to write again.
True love never dies. :) on the writing level of course.
Now I choose the Pilipino version of English in writing.
What's is it ?
... you know the usual, tag-lish (tagalog-english)
wrong grammatical expression.
Wrong spelling. It's an erap version of english.
Good thing there's software now to check my spelling. :)
Lots of things should be done to sharpen my English.
Am very grateful to my English teacher Mr Cloza.
He help me a lot to sharpen my English.
But i least my readers can understand my english.
Think about it:
in the Philippines, The court judges and attorneys speak English.
It's a requirement for a lawyer that he or she can speak English.
On the Lighter side :
President Erap Estrada is the first President to swear in office using tagalog.
He is thrown out of office by a coup' the people put President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
She is by the way fluent in speaking, writing english.
Trivia:
President Arroyo is also speaking ilocano, visaya, cebuano and many pilipino dialect.
