When is the last time you call using landline phone? Have you eaten your meal hot from the micro wave oven?
While reading this article, its better to think and count your blessings.
If you think after calling, eating a hot meal and reading online is not a blessing think again.
Parts of the Philippines have no phone signal, no electricity and a computer is for the elite use only.
Technology now a days are a rare specimen to some, yet those who have it take them for granted.
While we savor the flavor and taste of a hot microwave oven cook meal, others don't even have food to eat.
Technology has come a long way from the first fire light to the latest computers.
The very purpose of innovation is to ease everyday life. Even so not everyone use it.
Technology shock
Transition from a manual work to a computerized one can create technology shock. For instance, some people calling long distance using standard telephone can't believe that computer to computer voice calling is feasible and cheaper than the standard phone call, even if they knew and accept it is feasible they can't use it, there not computer literate.
On the other hand, not everyone embrace technology.
There are still people believe and use traditional way of life.
High tech person came back to that life once in a while, they call it the breather.
Creative persons, artist, writers, poets and painters get there inspiration traditionally.
Looking back have some benefits too, you can count your blessings and be thankful that there's technology to ease your work.
Think about it:
Imagine this, no electricity no light, no TV or Radio, no microwave oven and no computer. What do you think is our life then?
Primeval time for some is a great way of life, but high techs people (like me) it's great to have innovation.
On the lighter side:
What will be the job of a radio commentator if there's no radio yet?
