I have wake-up early this morning.
Watch the early news on Gma7 unang hirit.
I wonder about the news, "The world bank suspend Philippines road project loan"
The cause of the suspension is alleged unexplained, over pricing by the collaborating party of the bidder and the officials' involved.
Still sleepy, I sat on my bed and study on what I watch on the news.
I said to my self "maybe I don't hear it clear". So I got up the bed and hurry to my computer and search on the internet about this news.
Well it's in the news alright; you can read it from the website of the TV station
The heading
Senate to probe WB deferment of $232-M loan package to RP
If am correct, and recall it right, the same TV station Gma7 featured in one of there episodes (The missing link) or the missing road. The reporter interviewed officials of a province and ask documents for the road projects. The officials give Gma7 reporter a copy of the road projects, receipts, blue prints and the locations. The funny this is (I think it's not funny) the supposed to be finished road projects can't be found. Nada, wala, no where to be found. Will, actually they find the road but it's not concrete. It's a road alright, just don't run your Ferrari on it. But if you want mud on your tires, ok go ahead : The kind of road that is shown in the Documentary, is the kind of road for carabaos and horses. Its also good for motor cycle racers, you will have a feel of adventures (I would say)
If you think the missing road is a worst enough, try the alleged fertilizer fund for some barangay. Ok fertilizer fund is good for a barangay, but the barangay is located somewhere metro manila (of which I will not say where in manila)
the location, as shown in the video, will not need fertilizer fund. It's a residential subdivision. :(
The news about the World Bank decision will certainly affect the business sector.
I wonder how much the dollar to peso today : good news for the OFW?
I check the dollar is $43= P1
Yesterday it's $42=P1
Will the news affect the Philippine economy as a whole?
Investor's confidence to the Philippine economy will be tested.
I hope the investors will have a positive outlook in all of this.
